Spiritual World Teachers
The common way to learn about the Orixás is from a Spiritual Teacher who has devoted their life to the understanding and experience of the Orixás within the structure of a specific tradition.
Starting in 1996 Andrée Morgana went to Brazil each year for 12 years to study the spiritual traditions of Umbanda and Candomblé.While in Brazil and since then, Andrée developed a working relationship with highly evolved Spiritual Beings who have a great depth of understanding of the energy formations of the universe, and who can show others how to make the connection to the Orixás. One of those Spiritual Beings is Vovó Anamalia.

Vovó Anamalia is a beautiful and kind spiritual being, who had been on earth long, long ago in Africa as a “medicine woman”. The understanding of the Orixás is fundamental to her being. The Orixá Naná is her protection.
In the Brazilian Spiritual Traditions Vovó is from the lineage of Preta Velhas who come to help people with their sufferings and difficulties in life.Today Vovó works in the tradition of the Orixás, utilizing the natural energy formations within the universe to heal people and our earth.Andrée has chosen to let Vovó Anamalia be the Spiritual Teacher who gives the knowledge and experience of the Orixás to people.
